Birthday Party/Event/Class FAQ
1. What should the party host bring?
The party host is responsible for bringing any tablecloths, plates, cuts, utensils, or decor needed for the gathering.
2.Is the price all-inclusive?
No, the price does not include tax and/or Gratuity.
3. How many participants can you accommodate?
Wheel parties can accommodate up to 10 participants. The studio has 5 wheels, alternation will occur with more than 5 participants.
Pottery painting parties can accommodate up to 12.
4. Will the party be private?
Yes, the 2232 Ceramics studio will be closed to the public during the allotted party time.
5. How much time before the party starts is allowed for decor set up?
5) Are we allowed to come early to decorate?
You can arrive 15 minutes early to decorate and will have 10 minutes at the end of the gathering to clean up.
Clean up and organization during the party time is highly encouraged.
6. Is gratuity accepted?
Yes, gratuity is accepted and greatly appreciated.
There is a lot of prep and clean-up time spent before and after the party to make your event special and run smoothly.
7. What is the parking situation with the studio being downtown Spokane?
Plenty of street parking is available on 1st Avenue as well as Cedar.
8. Do we need to clean up?
Yes, the host is required to do a basic clean up of all food, drink and decor.
The trash will be disposed of by studio staff.
9. Is outside food and drink allowed?
Yes, a table is provided for food to be arranged on. Hands and workspace need to be clean before consuming food. It's recommended that the food portion of the party be either before or after the main event (wheel throwing or pottery painting).
10. What should we wear?
Pottery can be very messy but it easily washes out of clothing. Wear clothing that can get dirty and be washed.
Aprons are not provided, but feel free to bring your own or a towel.
